Rental Rules: Simple, Clear, and Fair

We believe that great trips start with clear agreements. No fine print, no hidden clauses. Here is everything you need to know about renting a car through Vrenty car.

1. Requirements: Who Can Drive?

To rent a car, you don’t need any special permits. All you need is:

  • Passport: For identification.
  • Driver’s License: Your national license is perfectly fine (as long as it’s in Latin or Cyrillic script).
  • Age: Drivers must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.

2. The «No Deposit» Promise

We offer a «No Deposit» option with many of our partners.

  • How it works: You pay the rental fee (and the reservation deposit if required) via our site, and the remainder is paid to the car owner upon pickup.
  • Why we do this: We believe in mutual trust. By choosing cars with the «No Deposit» tag, you save your cash for your travels.
  • Note: If you choose a car with a standard security deposit, it will be clearly stated during the booking process. The deposit is always returned to you in full when you return the car in the same condition.

3. Payment Methods

We value your convenience.

  • Online: Secure payment for the booking reservation (15-20% of the total).
  • At Pickup: The remaining balance is paid directly to the rental provider in cash (AMD, USD, EUR). Many of our partners also accept local bank transfers or debit cards (including Mir/UnionPay).

4. Insurance and Coverage

We want you to feel confident on the road.

  • Basic Insurance: Every car on Vrenty car comes with standard CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) and TPL (Third Party Liability) included in the price.
  • Super CDW (Recommended): For those planning to explore off-road areas, steep passes, or narrow canyon paths, we highly recommend adding «Super CDW.» This covers damage to the undercarriage, glass, and tires—giving you total peace of mind for an extra few dollars a day.

5. Crossing the Border to Georgia

Yes, you can go to Georgia!

  • Important: You must inform us at least 3 days before your trip.
  • The Paperwork: A notarized «Cross-Border Permit» is required. We handle this for you for a small fee (30–30–50). Do not attempt to cross without this document, as border guards will not permit entry.

6. Fuel and Maintenance

  • Fuel Policy: You receive the car with a certain level of fuel (usually full). Please return it with the same amount.
  • Maintenance: All our vehicles undergo regular professional inspections. If you encounter a technical issue, you are backed by our 24/7 support. Just give us a call, and we’ll handle the rest.

7. Cancellations

Life happens. If your plans change, we’ve got your back.

  • Check the specific cancellation policy for your chosen car during checkout. Most of our partners offer flexible terms, allowing you to cancel or modify your booking with a full refund of your reservation fee if done within the specified timeframe (usually 48 hours before pickup).
